Security concerns aside, Touch Bar Piano v1.0 is a miniature synthesizer piano, that can use 128 different instruments, aside from the default piano, including strings, woodwinds, and drums. The caveat, for most of these apps, is that they are largely unavailable on the Mac App Store, with most requiring users to grant special permissions to sideload the apps from compressed files, downloaded directly from the developer’s website.
Now that the Touch Bar is finally here, apps are beginning to pop up, that turn the MacBook Pro’s most gimmicky feature into anything, including a Touch-enabled Doom emulator, a sound machine, and, as of late, the world’s tiniest piano.
